Jack Bauer, Lisa & Walker Today

I just realised it has been ages since the last update of my cats. Since October we adopted a stray cat we called Walker (Named after the 'Walkers' from The Walking Dead for so many weird reasons..) We're all still trying to get along, but it's going slow and we need to be patience with him.

Things I Love

Love the woods and mountains. This month I went to my parents in French for a few days. I didn't realise I needed the break until spending a few days in the green mountains, where your mind gets clean. I needed to get out of the too crowded Netherlands, get away from ringing phones, I needed the clean air, the rest, the wine..
To be honest, this time it took me a few days to get used to the French people. They aren't really the most polite people in the world and they don't speak English at all! But after those days, it was lovely. Seen so many beautiful things, and I loved living in the mountains, without any neighbours... it really got to me.

As much as I hate getting gift, I love giving them! Especially when I know the person is going to love it! Tonight we're going to surprise my best friend by celebrating her birth day. She'll be shocked and happy to see us!

If possible, I take my camera with me. It's just as natural as taking the keys when I leave the house. I'm not great at photography  at all or anything, but you see, I love the little things in life and I love capturing them as much as I can. Like I mentioned before, I have a thing for Autumn. Maybe because of the beautiful little things Autumn brings. Like that patient spider in his web waiting for that one bite, or the gorgeous colours in the trees, a few seconds of sunshine between the rainy clouds that feels soft and warm on your cheeks. I love those little things in Autumn, in life and will share them right here on this blog.
