Damien Rice, my number one artist. I love him as a musician, as a poet, as a beautiful soul. Like my keys, I carry his album O with me all the time. I just can't call it a day without one of his songs...

Things I Love

Love fixing the back garden. When we bought it, it looked like crap, filled with only ugly stones. No green, no nothing. It took a while, but we're slowly getting there.

Inspiration: Marilyn Monroe

The one thing I find really fascinating about Marilyn Monroe, is how somebody looking so blissful on the outside with a smile so bright, can be so grey and depressed on the inside...
They fake it, they will do anything to hide the shadows and fool you.

Things I Love

Love the woods and mountains. This month I went to my parents in French for a few days. I didn't realise I needed the break until spending a few days in the green mountains, where your mind gets clean. I needed to get out of the too crowded Netherlands, get away from ringing phones, I needed the clean air, the rest, the wine..
To be honest, this time it took me a few days to get used to the French people. They aren't really the most polite people in the world and they don't speak English at all! But after those days, it was lovely. Seen so many beautiful things, and I loved living in the mountains, without any neighbours... it really got to me.
