Love Dexter! We just started season five and are totally addicted.

Love my new good intention to clean up after myself. I'm pretty neat but had the bad habbits to be a bit lazy sometimes. I'm doing my best and the result is awesome :)

Love L'Oreal roll on foundation. For some reason no shop sold it anymore, until now! Ít's the best foundation for my skin, it's nice and smooth but a bit expensive though..

Love my father in law is back home and will be just fine after a pulmonary embolism.

Love my parents are back home from vacation.

Love my new desk for drawing. Too bad I haven't been able to use it yet, but after the baby is born and times are little less crazy I'm getting behind that nice desk!

Love my husband's totally unexpected salary raise. Especially in times like these, and with a new family member on the way!

Love all the beautiful Autumn trees around me.

Things I love about Autumn

Being surrounded by beautiful warm colours.

Inhale the fresh Autumn smell.

Love the soft temperatures. The horrible warmth is gone, and it's not too cold yet.

The fashion. Autumn gives us way more options what to wear. I love finishing up with shawls, heads and nice jackets. Layers can be so cool.
And people are all covered up in clothing, so no more exposed skin on the streets, which is nice because I'm not interested in sagging skin, your hairy spots, bodyfat or bare feet!

Love there's no more armpit smell.

Stepping on crunchy leaves.

Love there are no more uninvited bugs in the house, no more mosquito bytes or wasps.

Open windows to welcome Autumn in your house. So no more hot and sticky sleepless nights.

People finally know how to drive again. Autumn has less distractions and we don't have to listen to people's bad music because they'll keep their windows closed.

Way less people on the beaches.

Love the cozy dark evenings with books and candle light.

Love being able to wear skirts again without being a turn on for stupid horny men.

Love Autumn romance. Love taking a hike, having long chats over coffee/hot tea, staying in to read books together or feeling each others warmth when it's getting cold.

Love the music.

No more lame summer events or boring fairs eveybody only joins because they're affraid they will miss something or can't talk about it.

No more invites for BBQ's but lovely inside dinners.

Love having red wine in the garden at the fire place.

Love cinnamon.

The rain. It's the 3th day of August and the 3th rainy August day. We do get a little bit of sunshine, wich is nice, but it's also nice and cool.

Things I love Monday

Love my sweet husband who takes so very good care of me and has to deal with my crazyness.

Love movie night with pizza at our friends place.

Love the little house we built in our garden for the stray cats. It took a few hours of our time and spend just a few bucks on it, but now the cats at least have some shelter for the bad weather.

Love this rainy July. It cools off the house and I get the feeling I can breathe again.

Love everything seems alright with my baby and me. My uterus is pretty high for 28 weeks, but that's because of my little belly, so accept for some strong heartburn, there's nothing wrong with that!

Love getting tickets for Glen Hansard this December! And my husband for surprising me with them!

Love that I have eight weeks left to work untill my maternity leave. Can't wait to get some rest and prepairaitions for the delivery.

Love that I will quit the Friday nights at work when I get back in December. I don't really hate working at Friday night, but for now I'm done with them. I will love to go back to my old hours and be home with my husband, cats (and baby) to eat and celebrate the weekend!

Love my nursing pillow. Can't sleep without anymore!

Love having the Saturday off and plan nothing special. Just be with my husband and cats, having a nice dull day :)

Love taking care of the neighbours cats, while they're on vacation.

Things I Love Wednesday

Love feeling my baby move. Until now, I feel him every day, some days all day long and it's such a special feeling.

Love finally getting the house done. We still had some chores to do, but it looks like we're getting them all done before Fall.

Love watching Prison Break again. It's been over five years since I've seen the episodes, but it's still very exciting! I've never watched the last season, because I thought the story had nothing to do with the original storyline anymore. It's sad when the big television bosses only care about getting more money, than knowing when to stop.

Love our new Ipad. It's so handy!

Love the new furniture for the nursery! Can't wait to turn it into a real baby room :)

Love Lamaze class. I think it's a real shortcoming if you don't take them. I'm already more relax about giving birth.

Love the rainy days. Everything smells awesome :)

Love road trips. I love going from place to place, seeing all the things you want, having the feeling you're totally free, getting exhausted but satisfied.

Love Bryce Canyon.

Love every polite person I met during the trip.

Love that Americans are so polite and sweet.

Love mountains, lake's, wild animals, nature.

Love that my parents in law left their European prejudgements in the past about American people, now that they've seen that society for themselves.

Love my new intention to draw at least one day a week. One day is not much, but way more than I'm doing right now. Hopefully I will stick to it and finally get a great collection and improve faster.

Love my oversized sweaters from the Urban Outfitters. They are ellegant, warm and just lovely.

Love Urban Outfitters, sadly we don't have one in the Netherlands but whenever I'm in the US or Ireland, it's the first shop I go to.

Love planning our next trip to the USA. It will be nice to go back to Bryce canyon and listen to the silence. Or hike at Zion, drive around in the car for hours with beautiful music at the background, watch the most amazing sunsets in the world...

Love Frasier.

Love the fact that we finally got 'Animal Cops' in the Netherlands. Most people don't take animal cruelty serious and laugh a bit when talking about the 'cops', which makes me sick to my stomach. Even the so called green political parties joke around because apperently ego goes before your own vieuws of life.

Love taking care of the birdies and the poor stray cat in these cruel winter days.

Love sharing all sorts of things with friends. It's great to have people in your life that are there for you when you need a shoulder.

Love saving money for Dublin this Christmas and I'm doing so very well.

I love getting my Sex And The City DVD box from the shelf once every four months, and just watch a few disc's. I guess I'm not the typical SATC fan, who loves shoes, knows fashion, and takes the SATC tour in NYC. I'm the SATC fan who loves, loves, loves New York City and loves the smart writing.

Love getting Friday night off.

Love Dublin. It's been my second visit to this beautiful city and I've fallen in love all over again. It felt like coming home and I had the most amazing time of my life. Christmas night was filled with awesome musicians, and at Christmas day it felt like I had the whole city to myself. It was horrible to leave so soon.

Love running into Damien Rice, to get a change to talk to him and most important to hear him sing :)

Things I Love

Love fixing the back garden. When we bought it, it looked like crap, filled with only ugly stones. No green, no nothing. It took a while, but we're slowly getting there.

Things I Love

Love the woods and mountains. This month I went to my parents in French for a few days. I didn't realise I needed the break until spending a few days in the green mountains, where your mind gets clean. I needed to get out of the too crowded Netherlands, get away from ringing phones, I needed the clean air, the rest, the wine..
To be honest, this time it took me a few days to get used to the French people. They aren't really the most polite people in the world and they don't speak English at all! But after those days, it was lovely. Seen so many beautiful things, and I loved living in the mountains, without any neighbours... it really got to me.

Things I Love Wednesday

I will try to make this as positive as possible, but you must know I'm still a bit in the dark zone. People keep me here, evil souls with poisonous words no one should ever speak!

I start to realise the more I work with people, the more I want to move away from here. Live somewhere deep in the woods, where no other human's are. Surrounded by big beautiful trees, green mountains, wild waters, with lovely animals and amazing views. Peacefully live there, just me and my thoughts... You see, I am the kind of person who needs to be by herself sometimes. I get crazy when I'm surrounded by people all day, all week.
Other people aren't to blame all the time, I get that most of the time it's me. I get frustrated so easily and they don't understand at all why the fuck I need to be alone sometimes, again, really frustrating!

The thing I truly love with all my heart is just listen to music, alone, or quietly read a book, alone, or shut down the curtains and watch Grey's Anatomy, alone, or just draw, alone. But they won't let you do that. There are (cell)phones, email, Facebook, family who they will find when you're off the map (Yes, they will even bother them to get to you!). And because they don't know calmness, they won't let you have some! Like yesterday, I felt depressed for no reason, needed to draw and was in a lovely calm mood with my lovely calm music on the back. When I draw, I need the rest, but for some messed up reason, someone isn't patient enough to just wait one more day for my answer. She doesn't understand, will not understand and I realise I don't understand her also. It's funny when you look at it that way, in our misunderstood world where we're all misunderstood. But at that moment I feel like I'm draging her on my shoulders and she's sucking all calmness out og me with her bloody vampire teeth. At that moment I hate her. At that moment I want to go away, move and go to that lovely place in the woods...

Things I love

The last few weeks I feel like I don't really have much to be grateful for. Sounds a bit dark? Well, that's just how I've been feeling... But, to prevent this blog from grayness and depression, I will share a few amazing songs, Amen for music!
Whenever I feel like this, or when all things seem to go wrong, people try to change who you are, or act like nazi's, I stop and listen to a few songs that makes me smile, give me some amazing memories, love and courage.

Love the way Lisa Hannigan's I don't know always brings a smile on my face. She just gives her amazing energy through her songs and this video is just lovely. Even when she goes a bit off, the only things she has to do is show that big smile and go on.
